Kids’ birthday parties are so fun but are a LOT to plan, am I right? If you are looking for some birthday party inspiration, you will love this girly spin on this Party Animal birthday theme for kids.
When looking online, I found a lot of party animal kids’ birthday inspiration geared toward boys. This party animal birthday party included lots of pink and some sparkles for my girly girl. Here is the decor I used:
When planning birthdays, I always start with one fun detail and then go from there. I found this darling Animal Cake Topper and went from there. I paired it with this Gold Number Candle. If you were doing cupcakes instead of cake, I also found these and thought they were adorable. These Sarafi Animals Napkins are perfect soft colors and paired well with these pretty soft pink plates and pink paper cups. I used these plates before and they are my go-to. They are so versatile. I also found this fun Confetti to sprinkle on the table for a little sparkle. I didn’t use the whole bag so it didn’t make a huge mess. And this giraffe foil balloon was the perfect detail.
Inspired by this party, I did an “adopt a party animal” favor. I found these little stuffed giraffes. They had other animals as well. I designed an adoption certificate and an “Adopt a party animal” sign to go with them. The kids loved filling them out (with parents’ help) and I loved that the favor doubled as an activity.
I used our craft supply cart as a place to put it all.
A few months ago, a customer asked if I would design a pin the hat on the cat game. Of course, I said yes and love how it came out. So, I thought I would recreate the game for the party animal birthday theme. It turned out so cute and the kids had fun with it.
Normally, I like to design the invitations myself and send out paper invitations. I love snail mail. This time, I was short on time and found these Paperless Post ones that matched the napkins. I changed the heading text from “calling all critters” to “calling all party animals” to match the theme.
This was such a fun birthday party to plan and I hope it helps inspire you for your child’s next birthday party.
