This Halloween countdown for kids is a festive kid activity that will help little ones get even more excited for Halloween.
Do you remember making paper chains as a kid? I normally made them for Christmas. I thought it could be fun to do a fun spin on the tradition for Halloween.
You start on October 1st. Tear off one link each day, until Halloween is here! I love the idea of building up anticipation to make the holidays that much more fun. This is such a simple way to involve your kiddos in the spirit of the spooky season!
Stephanie from @mamajots had her girls do the gluing to involve them in the fun Halloween activity. I love how she hung hers in her girls’ room! I love the idea of decorating kids’ rooms for the holidays and this is such a simple way to do it. Inspired by this, I ended up putting our paper chain in my oldest daughter’s room and she tears a paper chain first thing every morning!
And @vivienne_and_jade included the paper chain with her Halloween boo basket set up.
And so did Heidi from @heidiliz! I’m obsessed with how these turned out.
